Can I charge my E-bike battery using a solar panel?
We do not recommend using anything apart from the supplied charger to charge your battery. If you do plan to use an energy source other than the Electricity Grid, we strictly suggest connecting your battery charger to a socket that supplies pure sinewave at 110/ 220V AC at 500W.
Although a 200/ 250W socket can also work that would mean being too close to the minimum wattage needed by the charger and unless there is no other device connected to the system to draw power this may cause the main supply to trip occasionally.
