Introduction
Looking to remove the front drive sprocket from your Juggernaut XD eBike? Follow this guide for instructions on hoe to do so!
You will need the following tools:
8mm Allen Key
Crank Arm Puller + COmpatible Wrench
Phillips Screwdriver
3mm Allen Key
Step 1
Remove the crank arm bolt on the XD Drive Side of the bike using an 8mm Allen Key
Remove the crank arm on the XD Drive side with your Crank Arm Puller and wrench.
Step 2
Take the Phillips screwdriver and remove all 4 of the circled bolts securing the Front Sprocket Chain Plate to the bike. Then remove this protector from the bike.
Remove this protector from the bike - it should be able to be easily pulled away.
Step 3
Take your 3mm Allen Key. Remove the 5 bolts securing the Front Drive Sprocket to the motor
With all 5 bolts removed from the front sprocket you can slide it off from the spindle and remove it from the bike!
Remove the chain from the sprocket - leave this aside for now
Step 4
Slide your new front sprocket over the spindle and run the chain back onto the sprocket
You may find it easier to put the chain onto the sprocket, then install the sprocket onto the spondle!
Reinstall the bolts into the holes of the sprocket to secure it to the motor using your 3mm Allen Key.
Make sure the drive chain tension is set before proceeding forward!
