Introduction

Do you need to adjust the stem angle on your Swift CVT? It might seem tricky at first but once you know the right bolt it' an easy job!

You will need the following tools to do this:

  • 5mm Allen Key

  • Other Allen Keys as needed to adjust items on handlebars

Step 1

  • Locate the adjustment bolt. This can be seen circled in the first image, on the underside of the stem!

  • Loosen this bolt by rotating it counterclockwise with a 5mm Allen Key! It might be tight so take care to now strip it!

  • With the adjustment bolt loose you can rotate the stem to your desired angle by lifting or lowering from the faceplate! If you are having troubles with this adjustment rotate the adjustment bolt be a quarter turn and try again!

Step 2

  • Once you have found your desired Stem Angle, re-tighten the stem angle adjustment bolt.

    • If you have a torque wrench, retighten this bolt to 15Nm. If you do not have one just make sure the bolt is tight and not wobbling!

  • Loosen the 4 Faceplate bolts with a 4mm Allen Key to adjust the angle your handlebars are at! Once loosened you can find the desired handlebar angle you want, then re-tighten the bolts!

  • Lastly adjust the angles of the other accessories on your handlebar such as brakes, display, throttle, shifter and grips to be comfortable at your desired handlebar position! These might need 4mm, 3mm or 2.5mm Allen Keys to adjust.

You should now have the cockpit of your Swift CVT eBike set up and ready to ride!
