The purpose of eBikes is the same as a normal bike except with an added E-Factor that helps its riders ride more comfortably with fewer efforts. If you want to use a bike with Throttle only it would be best to buy a bike designed with that purpose.
So why is there a Throttle on an eBike?
The throttle on an eBike is an assistive technology and is not designed to serve the purpose of a Moped in a Bicycle's clothes. What this means is that the throttle is meant to be used sparingly when a rider needs short bursts of energy during a ride. For example, from a dead stop, you want to cross a road or start on an incline or turn without delay on a traffic light, or perhaps you need just a little bit of rest for your legs on your last mile.
